Germany has spent hardly anybody so much time with murderers like Hans-Ludwig Kröber. In the past 30 years, he has inspected more than 1000 offenders. The Professor of forensic psychiatry, 68 years old, has been a Professor Emeritus since 2016, this week his new book, “murder in the relapse”. He has collected in 45 cases of men, he has self-studied. It is the men who killed after a homicide, and completion of sentence again, or at least tried to. Kröber receives in his office in Berlin-Steglitz.
