Putin instructed to enter a payment to low-income families for children from 3 to 7 years

Vladimir Putin instructed the government to introduce from 1 January of the current year a monthly payment to low-income families for children from 3 to 7 years. The corresponding decree of the President published on the Kremlin website.

According to the document, we are talking about families, per capita income not exceeding the subsistence minimum, established in the specific region of the country. The size of the payment should be half of the subsistence minimum of the child. Clarifies that this figure is the average will be about 5.5 thousand rubles a month.

the Head of state also instructed to assess the income level of families receiving payments. Following this a decision will be made about the possibility of increasing the payout from 1 January next year.

Earlier Vladimir Putin extended the program of the parent capital until 31 December 2026. Parents will have the right to receive the parent capital at a birth of the first child. Payment for the firstborn will be 466 thousand rubles from January 1, 2024, for families with two children – 616 thousand rubles.
