Lydia Litvyak since childhood, studied at the flying club and growing up, began to train pilots itself. Before the war, Tatiana studied at the pedagogical Institute, and later worked as a kindergarten teacher. Once the mission commander onon went into the enemy rear, which together with his comrades faced the enemy. Baramzina were shot to the last. But she was captured. Tatiana was severely tortured before her death: she gouged out his eyes, cut breast, and then shot from anti-tank guns. She’s been identified only by fragments of clothing and hair. She was only 24 years old. In 1945, Tatiana Baramzinoy was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union posthumously.

Partisan Lisa Chaikin
