Ana Ivanovic is Serbian Orthodox
At Schweinsteiger-Ivanovic, Easter is celebrated a second time this Sunday (April 19, 2024). The reason: Ana Ivanovic (32) is Serbian Orthodox. Easter is celebrated a little later with this religious community. Anas and Bastian’s sons can look forward to the double portion of Easter eggs as a nice side effect, as the mom shows on Instagram.
Bastian and Ana want to do justice to both religions
The former professional tennis player currently shared a photo on Instagram showing an Easter basket with colored eggs. The hands of Ana, Bastian and their two sons reach for it. “Happy Easter” Ana commented on the picture and added “Christ’s Resurrection”.
An image shared by Ana the week before shows that the family is trying to do justice to both religions. On it you can see: she and her husband holding an Easter basket full of chocolate bunnies. Back then Ana wished “everyone who celebrates Easter today” a happy holiday.
The couple who said yes in Venice in 2016 have two boys. Her youngest son was born in September 209.
