In Russia came into force new rules of dismissal

From February 1, 2024 in Russia came into force new standards of the Ministry of labour and social protection of the population against dismissals of employees. This is reported by “Izvestia”.

under the new rules, employers will be obliged to give information on labor activities for the form of STD-R. the relevant document will contain information on the duration of the work – in fact, this is analogous to the statement of the traditional employment record.

In the future, Russia plans to introduce a system of electronic employment record books. The law on the new format was signed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, and the appropriate changes entered into force 1 January.

Those who are already engaged in work activities, up to 31 December 2024 will give the choice between electronic and paper version of the document. While those who start working in 2024, will be able to claim only on the digital service book.
