Over 3 thousand tons of gold found in India

In India has detected reserves of gold, of five times the country’s gold reserve, equal to 626 tons, reports RIA Novosti.

In the mines of the district Sonbhadra in the East of Uttar Pradesh geologists found about 3.5 thousand tons of precious ore. The found value of gold is estimated at 12 trillion rupees.

if such assessments are true, India will take second place in terms of gold reserves in the world, displacing Germany. The leader of this list are the United States – there are 8133,5 tons.

Earlier it was reported that Russia has strengthened its position in the ranking of the world’s gold reserves. By the end of 2019, our state remained in fifth place of the list.
