In Kiev said Putin's words about improving relations between the two countries

In the office of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that Russian-Ukrainian relations cannot be determined by a “geopolitical principles” leaders, reports the Washington Examiner.

“These relations are based on the interaction of people who live, work, doing and fighting for peace on both sides of the border”, – quotes the edition statement of the office.

Earlier Vladimir Putin said that he hoped to negotiate with his Ukrainian counterpart on improving relations between Russia and Ukraine.

the Russian President has reminded that Moscow and Kiev failed to agree on the exchange of detained persons and the agreement on the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine.
