Russia took the second place on cheapness of gasoline in Europe

Russia took the second place among European countries in terms of cheap gasoline lowest fuel prices recorded in Kazakhstan, according to a study RIA Novosti.

As specified, in terms of rubles the cost of a liter of 95-octane gasoline in Kazakhstan is 27.7 rubles, in Russia – 45.8 ruble. In third place is Belarus, the fourth place was taken by Ukraine. The most expensive gasoline in the Netherlands – 117,7 rubles per liter.

in addition, the cheap diesel is also recorded in Kazakhstan – 44.8 rubles per liter. As the price of gasoline, Russia is in second place on cheapness of diesel fuel (48 rubles per liter). The most expensive diesel fuel in Sweden – 109 rubles per liter. In the UK, Norway, Italy, France, Belgium and Finland, diesel fuel also costs more than 100 rubles per liter.

According to Rosstat, in 2019 gasoline prices showed the smallest increase in 11 years. The cost has risen 1.9 percent. The comparable figure for the interval in ten years, analysts have recorded in relation to diesel fuel.

the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) for the year 2024 predicts a rise in price of gasoline and other fuels on the inflation rate. It is first and foremost about retail sales.
