“We have taken measures in response to the attack. Our military struck 54 targets in Idlib, neutralized 76 Syrian soldiers,” said he.
According to Akar, the soldiers of Turkey on the eve of the twice informed the colleagues from the Russian side about the movement of forces in Idlib.
Earlier, the Turkish Ministry of defense announced the deaths of four Turkish soldiers in Idlib in the clash with the Syrian army. Another nine people were injured, one of them is estimated as heavy. Later, Ankara promised to bring to justice those responsible for the death of the military in Idlib.
Turkish leader Tayyip Erdogan also said that Russia is not fulfilling its obligations under the agreements on Syria. He noted that recently in Idlib frequent attacks by the regime, supported by Moscow.
