Court of St. Petersburg extended the arrest of the historian Sokolov

the October district court of Petersburg has extended for six months the period of detention of historian Oleg Sokolov, accused of murder and illegal possession of weapons, RIA Novosti reported.

the Arrest was extended until September 23, 2024, following a request by the investigation. It is also known that on April 9 the court will begin to consider the merits of the business of the historian.

Sam Sokolov is now in a Moscow pretrial detention centre “Butyrka” in the meeting, he participated via video conferencing.
