The Moscow city court upheld the sentencing of three convicted for the attack on rogatica

the Moscow city court recognized the legality of the sentence imposed by the three participants in an unsanctioned rally on July 27 who was convicted of assaulting an officer of Regardie, RIA Novosti reported.

In December 2019, according to the decision of the Meshchansky court of Moscow Yegor Forest was sentenced to imprisonment for three years, Maxim Martinov – 2.5 years, and Alexander Mylnikov has received conditional term.

“the Sentence to leave without change, the complaint – without satisfaction”, – announced the decision of the judge.

All the defendants participated in the court hearing in person.

At the request of the defence to postpone the meeting in order to familiarize with the materials of the case the court refused. In addition, the lawyers challenged the judge, but this request was denied.

According to the case materials, “July 27 in Moscow, three young men, acting intentionally and by a group, knocked to the ground and an employee of Regardie and was hit several times, causing physical pain”. The Prosecutor demanded for the protesters 3 to 4 years in prison.

Earlier it was reported that on July 27, 2019 during uncoordinated rally in the capital for various offenses, police detained 1074 participant.
