The Germans love milk – and milk chocolate – and the far distance in front of other varieties, such as a recent survey by the Federal Association of the German confectionery industry (BDSI) shows. Accordingly, 47 percent of the 1,000 respondents to give the chocolate a classic as your favorite places. With almost 30 per cent of the nougat chocolate is on the second position, as the chart from Statista shows. A little heavier, it has chocolate filling: hazelnut comes with 25.5 percent still on rank five, grape-nut-filling is 14.5 percent, but significantly less popular. At least friends chocolate with Toffee or caramel filling, and the mint chocolate. Per year, Germans consume chocolate is a good nine pounds, like the BDSI. The value had remained stable for many years.
