Lukashenka flew to Sochi to meet with Putin

the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived with working visit to Russia. The plane of the Belarusian leader landed in Sochi, TASS informs.

In the administration of Vladimir Putin announced that the Russian President will hold talks with his Belarusian counterpart. Their meeting will be held February 7.

it is Noted that Putin and Lukashenka will discuss the topic of cooperation between the two countries, in particular, “in the context of integration processes in the framework of the Union state”.

Earlier it became known that in Belarus decreased the number of supporters of Union with Russia. In 2019, this figure dropped by 20%. The majority of Belarusians believe that States should be independent from each other, but to have friendly relations and open the border.
