the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation has no plans to impose restrictions on the sale of protective masks in the pharmacies, not to have a deficit, said the Minister Denis Manturov.

“We do everything to ensure that this did not happen, based on the fact that it is such an unexpected burst and the request is not only a population, because in the retail segment in particular were buying up masks, which are then exported beyond our country”, – Manturov was quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to the Minister, Russia has 20 producers of such products. In total (at boot 130% due to extra work shifts), they produce nearly 900 thousand masks a day and can increase up to a million.

According to Manturov, this volume will provide the demand that exists today in the country. The Minister noted that 2 million masks sent to China as part of humanitarian assistance.

Previously, the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia announced the discovery of declining stocks of medical masks from wholesale organizations and their deficit from producers due to the increased demand for products.

Vladimir Putin instructed to take away the licenses of such pharmacies over the price of drugs in connection with the coronavirus. The President noted that if the closes unscrupulous companies, the shortage of drugs will not.
