the Russian state Duma postponed the entry into force of the law on compulsory photographic recording of the vehicle at the time of inspection and issuance of diagnostic card in electronic form.

Previously, the law was to be obligatory for all Russians on 7 June 2024. Now the entry into force of this law will not occur until 1 March 2024.

the state Duma has accepted the decision during the consideration of the bill granting the Russian government with additional powers.

According to the text of the bill, introduced mandatory photographing the inspection. In addition, over the accreditation requirements of the operators performing the procedure, introduced constant monitoring. The law also provided for the mandatory provision of inspection data into a Single automated information system.

the Law decided to enter, because of a rather widespread practice of mass registration of diagnostic cards in the actual absence of inspection.

Also on 31 March, the state Duma has postponed the mandatory pre-Russian software gadgets. In addition, a law was passed allowing the government to declare a state of emergency. Also, the state Duma approved the introduction of fines for fake news about epidemics, and the introduction of criminal liability for violation of the quarantine mode.
