the Moscow city Duma Deputies proposed to introduce fines for citizens who fail to comply with isolation, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the bill.

As specified, to be fined for violating the self-isolation is offered for four thousand rubles. This matter was considered at an extraordinary meeting of the Moscow city Duma on Wednesday, April 1.

As Chairman of city Parliament Alexey Shaposhnikov, will consider the draft law on the establishment of responsibility for violation of Muscovites mode of isolation and the draft resolution on the amendments to certain regulations of MHD related to the organization of the meetings of the Moscow Parliament in a mode of videoconferences.

According to Shaposhnikov, the meeting will be held in regular and not distance learning format.

Earlier it was reported that the Federation Council approved a law introducing a system of fines for violation of the quarantine regime. The law amends the Code on administrative offences.

In particular, for citizens who violated the quarantine regime and have revealed no contamination, the fine will be from 15 to 40 thousand rubles. Officials in a similar situation will have to pay from 50 to 150 thousand rubles, legal entities – from 200 to 500 thousand rubles. For the latter, also provides punishment in the form of the suspension of operations for up to 30 days.
