But not only in Fallon’s famous show, the song was also extremely well received worldwide. The music magazine “Rolling Stone” described “Supalonely” as the perfect alt-pop quarantine anthem.

From the province to the top

Benee released a quieter version of the hit single under the name “Lownely”. Benee grew up in the New Zealand suburb of Auckland.

In 2018 she celebrated her first big success with the single “Soaked”. The single reached number 14 on the New Zealand single charts. Last year, the newcomer released two EPs: “Fire on Marzz” and “Stella & Steve” – a mix of indie pop and RnB.
