Great Patriotic war became the great test for the country and for each person individually. Not all of it survived. This is evidenced by the phenomenon, which has long preferred to remain silent – desertion.

The history of Russia is the history of constant wars. Russian philosopher Ivan Ilyin wrote: "Soloviev has 1240 1462 for the year (222) — 200 wars and invasions. From the XIV century to XX-yy (525 years) Sukhotin has 329 years of war. Russia has fought two thirds of my life."
