“I will be grateful forever”

The entertainment industry mourns actor and comedian Jerry Stiller (1927-2020), who died of natural causes on May 11 at the age of 92. Leah Remini (49) and Kevin James (55), Stillers co-stars from the sitcom “King of Queens”, both wrote emotional words on Instagram.

“I was very lucky to work with Jerry Stiller and to play his daughter in The King Of Queens for nine years. But I am even happier that I was able to get to know him as a man, husband, father and grandfather, ”Remini writes about some pictures of the two .

The only consolation is that Stiller is now reunited with his wife Anne Meara (1929-2015), who died in 2015, the actress continues. “I will be forever grateful for the memories, the fatherly conversations away from the camera and for the whole year full of joy, as well as the kindness that he showed me and my family. We will miss you so much Jerry. ”

“One of the nicest, loving and funniest people who ever graced this earth,” writes Kevin James on his Instagram channel for a picture of him and Stiller, on which they pose arm in arm for a photo. “Thank you for so many incredible memories. I love and miss you. Rest in peace, ”continued James.

From 1998 to 2007, Jerry Stiller was King of Queens as Arthur Spooner, father of Carrie Heffernan (Leah Remini) and father-in-law of Doug Heffernan (Kevin James).
