John “Johnny” Marc Galecki saw the light of day in Bree, Belgium, since his father Richard Galecki was stationed there as a soldier of the United States Air Forces. At the age of three, Galecki moved back to Chicago with his parents and two younger siblings. Already at the age of seven he showed great interest in acting and performed in the “Goodman Theater” in Chicago. At the age of ten, Galecki made his television debut with the mini-series “A Consecrated Murderer”.

Career

In 1989, Galecki’s television and film career took off. He played the role of Russell Griswold in “Beautiful Christmas Presenting”, an American film comedy. His role in the television series “Man of Dreams” followed two years later. From 1992 to 1997, the American played the supporting role of David Healy in the well-known cult series “Roseanne”, which deals with the working class “Connor”. Since 2007 Galecki has played one of the main roles in the cult series “The Big Bang Theory”. He appeared on the side of Will Smith in the superhero film “Hancock”. In 2011, Galecki starred with well-known actors such as Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde in the scienece fiction thriller “In Time – Your time is running out”.
