Early life

Bodo Schäfer started his career in Germany in the mid-1990s when he started writing books. A little later, Bodo Schäfer founded his first own company, Schäfer Finanz Coaching GmbH, which was renamed FCM Finanz Coaching GmbH until 2000. Immediately afterwards, Bodo Schäfer founded GmbH in 2001, the next company that still exists today as AHEAD Products GmbH and with Bodo Schäfer as sole managing director. At the same time, Bodo Schäfer founded AHEAD Seminare & Coaching GmbH in 2000, which was dissolved in 2007. The residual assets were distributed among the other shareholders by the liquidator employed. From 2006, Bodo Schäfer founded the successful Finanzttrieb Reintgen & Schäfer invest GmbH in cooperation with Bernd Reintgen. After the business operations of Finanzvertrieb Reintgen & Schäfer invest GmbH were transferred to the new Bodo Schäfer Akademie GmbH in 2014, he continued to operate this company alone.

Also in 2000, Bodo Schäfer founded the non-profit foundation Children – Our Future, which is based in Bergisch Gladbach. The two partners Badma Baasansuren and Bodo Schäfer act as board members of the foundation. This foundation has been recognized by the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia and aims to promote the education and upbringing of young people and children, with a particular focus on orphans. The affected children and adolescents are supported by mentors who support them in developing their own goals and perspectives. Another task of the foundation is to work directly with the aid organization Deutsche Welthungerhilfe to build schools and training centers on the African continent.
