Daniel Wroughton Craig was born in the northwestern English town of Chester. After his parents separated, he grew up together with his older sister with his mother and stepfather in Liverpool, later in Hoylake. His stepfather Max Blond was a well-known artist, which made Daniel Craig grow up in an artistically inspired household. His mother Olivia, an art teacher, also promoted her son’s facial talent early on. In addition, Daniel Craig was very athletic and played rugby during his school days. At just 16, he moved to London to pursue his art there. For several years he performed there in the “National Youth Theater”.
