Most people know him from “Ocean’s Eleven”, others from “Emergency Room”, still others from his bizarre and dramatic roles in the late nineties. In any case, there is something for every taste in the wide range of George Clooney’s roles – hardly any actor can stage every atmosphere as effectively as Clooney.
George Timothy Clooney was born in Lexington, Kentucky in May 1961. He is the son of a television host and has a sister, his aunt is an actress. Clooney had his first television experience at the age of five when he was allowed to hold the text boards for his father in a quiz show.
From 1979 to 1981 Clooney studied radio journalism in Kentucky, but did not graduate. Instead, he developed a keen interest in acting.
