Paul William Walker IV was born in Glendale, California. He also grew up in the southern California city with four siblings. Walker’s family was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Even as a child, Paul Walker appeared in commercials, and his mother got the jobs for him. He was also seen in various guest roles in television series. After graduating from school, Walker turned his back on acting and studied marine biology, but quickly decided back in 1993. He preferred the acting career to studying.

In 1998 Walker appeared in the film “Pleasantville – Too Good to Be True” alongside Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon. In the years that followed, more popular films such as “Varsity Blues” and the high school comedy “One Like None” followed. Michael Crichtons’ novel “Timeline”, a time travel adventure, is one of the films with which Walker was able to convince audiences and critics. In addition to action films such as “The Fast and the Furious”, he starred alongside Jessica Alba in “Into the Blue” and in Clint Eastwood’s film project “Flags of Our Fathers” (2006) – a war drama that was nominated for several Oscars. Walker got the lead role in the adventure film “Antarctica – Trapped in Ice”. Then he was drawn back into the action genre: The Californian appeared in the films “Running Scared” (2006) and Kill Bobby Z ”(2007).

In addition to acting, Paul Walker was still very interested in marine biology. With his participation in the private television channel “National Geographic Channel” on a documentary series about the sharks, he fulfilled a long-cherished dream.
