Wedding ceremony should take place in summer

In June 2024, Sylvie Meis (42) wanted to step in front of the altar with her life partner Niclas Castello. But due to the corona pandemic, the cancellation followed. The wedding day actually planned as the “most beautiful day of the year” actually had to be postponed, which was “very sad”, Meis said in an interview with RTL . After all, postponed shouldn’t be canceled. The wedding is scheduled to take place in the fall of this year or in 2024. At the moment, she doesn’t have to do without spending time with her fiance: “We are together a lot, luckily. We see each other more than half a week, ”says Meis. However, she misses her social environment of family and friends very much.

The entrepreneur finds distraction through her work. “I feel very blessed to be able to work a lot,” says Meis, who works as an influencer on Instagram, among other things. In addition to her professional commitments, the moderator and son Damian (13) also do homeschooling. “I’m just not a math person. It’s really incredibly difficult, ”reveals Meis. What if the Meis warehouse looms? “Then UNO is played, I’m pretty good at it,” explains the moderator.

For Meis it is the second wedding. Her damian (b. 2006) comes from her first marriage to the former Dutch soccer player Rafael van der Vaart (37).
